Woodruff Johnson Evans & Haugen Cares
Philanthropy: Learning to Give. Our Attorney Contributions Help Make Our Communities a Better Place.
The attorneys at Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices provide excellent legal services and secure excellent results to injury victims and their families. However, that is not all that we do. Our lawyers philanthropy efforts actively support our communities by donating their time to help out those in need in our community. Our attorneys have routinely held positions on boards, contributed their time for charitable purposes, and made presentations all over Illinois.
Since the firm’s inception, founding partner Casey Woodruff has made several presentations and has had speaking engagements across Illinois. This includes several speeches he has given to union members about their workers’ compensation rights.
Partner Jay Johnson has had many speaking engagements with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the Illinois Education Association (IEA), the United Auto Workers (UAW), the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
Partner Dexter Evans has been a member of the West Suburban Humane Society and recently concluded his year as Editor-in-Chief of the DuPage County Bar Association’s scholarly publication “The Brief.”
In addition to the above, the attorneys at Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices have donated their time and efforts to such charitable organizations as KCBA Cares, DCBA Lawyers Lending a Hand, and Feed My Starving Children. Additionally, Woodruff Johnson & Evans has given out numerous scholarships on a yearly basis to exceptional high school students and incoming law students.
The bottom line… Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices cares. We care about making sure injury victims and their families are made whole again. But we also care about the community as a whole and do whatever we can to contribute to making our communities a better place.
