Workers’ Compensation Department: Arbitration Decisions
It Was a Good Day in the Workers’ Compensation Department
Aurora, IL – March 8, 2016 Tuesday, March 8, was a good day in the workers’ compensation department at Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices Injury Law Offices. Three separate lawyers received favorable written arbitration decisions from the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission on that one day.
Casey Woodruff obtained an order requiring a beverage corporation to pay for its delivery driver’s back surgery. Jay Johnson showed how a poorly designed work station injured a woman repetitively over time. Dexter Evans established permanent partial disability for a knee injury where the employer argued no impairment existed.
Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices partner Casey Woodruff stated, “A lot of law firms will attempt to negotiate a settlement for their clients, but will not take the extra step to go to trial on their client’s behalf if the settlement offer is unfair. We are trial attorneys and we will take your case before the judge. Receiving three good decisions in a single day demonstrates not only that we are willing to go to court, but how frequently we do so with outstanding results.”
