Emerging Lawyer and firm partner, Russell Haugen, is passionate about serving people who have been injured, working aggressively to help them obtain their legally-entitled benefits under the laws of Illinois. Within his workers’ compensation practice, he has successfully handled cases at every level of the workers’ compensation claim, litigating cases at the arbitration level and handling cases through the appeal process. He has spoken at seminars, including the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, on various topics related to workers’ compensation claims. Within his personal injury practice, he has successfully represented clients involved in a myriad of cases including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and products liability. Russ has dedicated 13 years of service to Woodruff Johnson &Evans and their deserving clients.

Emerging Lawyer and firm partner, Dexter Evans, is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and The Top Trial Lawyers in America®. The grandson of a Chicago union worker, Dexter has always felt a strong urge to help those trying to protect their rights. It is from this foundation that Dexter established himself as an aggressive advocate for the rights of his clients. Dexter has devoted his practice to obtaining compensation for personal injury victims. Dexter is an active member of the DuPage and Kane County Bar Associations and is the chair of the Professional Responsibility Section of the DuPage County Bar Association. He is on the board of directors of the West Suburban Humane Society as well as the editorial board of the DuPage County Bar Association DCBA Briefs publication.
