Illinois Law Firm Receives FOP Blue & Gold Award

“Woodruff Johnson & [Evans] have steadfastly supported and advocated for our members,” said Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge President Chris Southwood. “We are pleased to present them with this highest award that we can give to non-members.” The Blue Gold Award recognizes a non-member organization that has shown great generosity and support to the FOP. Woodruff Johnson Evans & Haugen was recognized for their many years of sponsoring FOP events, supporting law enforcement officers, and as a major contributor to the FOP’s new Disaster Response unit. The firm also has a long history of representing FOP members who have been injured in the line of duty.

I represent cops my entire life. I’ve represented them when they’re injured in the line of work, when their vehicles are struck by other drivers or otherwise when they sustained serious injuries. Doing what you and I expect them to do each and every day – protect us. We represented first responders from across the state of Illinois. And we’ll continue to do so with great pride. That’s why I was particularly pleased in Iowa on July 29, 2016 when the Illinois Federation of Police honor this law firm with their distinguished blue and gold award based on our service working relationship and generosity towards police officers making up the Illinois Federation of Police. On that date Attorney Jay Johnson, of our office, accepted this a war with great distinction and honor. We will continue to represent cops. It’s one of the things that we do here that we find most important to serve and to protect. They do it on a daily basis. If we can do it for them, we will be there.
