Burroughs Education $2,500 Scholarship Winner for 2018 Megan Ng!

Megan Ng is a senior at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville. She achieved a stellar GPA despite a rigorous course load, participation in multiple extracurricular activities, and volunteering for her local humane society. Amanda Ameling, Megan’s AP Human Geography teacher and cross country coach, applauds Megan for routinely challenging herself to learn, both in and out of the classroom, in order to positively influence the world around her. In fact, Megan’s goal to become a registered dietitian nutritionist is rooted in a strong desire to help others to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

This scholarship recognizes the dedication and hard work of school employees, such as Megan’s mother, Amy Ng, a teacher assistant at Springbrook Elementary School in Naperville, by assisting their children in their educational pursuits.
