Temporary Total Disability Benefits
If you suffer a workplace injury or illness for which your doctor takes you off work or places you on light duty restrictions that your employer cannot accommodate, you are entitled to receive weekly wages while you are off work. Temporary Total Disability (TTD) occurs when, at least for a portion of time, your work injury will completely prevent you from maintaining gainful employment.
How much Temporary Total Disability benefits I entitled to receive?
If your injury causes you to miss at least three days of work, you are entitled to receive 66.66% of your average weekly wages of the previous year, paid on a weekly basis. Depending on the circumstances involved in your accident, as well as the nature and extent of your injuries, you may also be entitled to receive vocational training designed to help you return to work.
